ENHANCING CURVES...
In order to enhance your curves, you should go for soft light fabrics that hug the figure and sway gently as you move.
CONCEALING CURVES...
If you wish to shape certain parts of your body, then opt for heavier fabrics that mould the figure and draw the eye to your best features.
SHORTER BRIDES....
Go for simple designs – too many trims and adornments will make you look shorter. Avoid padded shoulders and full or puffed sleeves, etc., and if possible choose a one piece dress that creates a visual sense of continuity.
TALLER BRIDES...
If you wish to disguise your height, then choose a gown with a billowing skirt and a V-shaped waist for added volume. Low necklines or strapless styles will also look great on you.
TALL AND SLENDER...
Although your figure means you can wear any type of gown, take care not to look too tall and shapeless. Go for low necklines and flounced sleeves.
THIN...
Stay away from figure hugging styles that will accentuate your thinness. Full skirts with a bodice top will look fabulous on you.
CONCEALING HIPS....
Choose an A line gown in order to conceal your lower body and draw the eye to the upper body.
TO LOOK SLIMMER...
If you wish to look slimmer, opt for close-fitting bodices that cinch your waist. A princess or A line gown will be the perfect choice for you. Avoid fussy, layered gowns that will add, rather than reduce, inches to your figure. Inverted vertical drapes at the waist (in a V shape) running downwards at a slight diagonal angle will lengthen and slim your figure.
BROAD BACKS...
Go for full princess silhouettes or A line skirts and keep the sleeves small and simple. Avoid draped styles, and all other trims or elements that add volume to the upper body.
